Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
I have a ASP.NET Core site that is set up with Azure AD. It is a site that is for staff and students.
There are two areas in the source code: Staff and Student Areas.
The staff area works perfectly. It will redirect to Microsoft and ask for AD login, once authenticated, it will redirect back to the site and load staff details from database.
The student area is supposed to do the same. It authenticates fine but when it redirects back to the student area, it doesn’t load the top nav, side nav and the footer (the partial views). It also isn’t loading the JS properly.
I have a feeling the issue is with the routing but I cannot figure it out.
I also want a login-as feature so staff can search a student and login as the student which means that staff can access the Student area but alias as a student and see what a student can see.
This is a small project but if you do the job well and in good time and can explain what went wrong then there will be a further project which would be on a larger scale but within the same .NET core site.
Please note: this is only for UK based developers as there are some Azure regional limitations.
You must have lots of experience with c sharp, .NET Core and Azure. Remember this site is configured to work on local network and on Azure with the same published code. You must also have access to your own Azure tenant so you can do some testing of your own.
