Re-design an access program in VB and move to SQL

I am currently running a an access DB in a high rise apartment building. The tenants names are referenced by name apartment number or phone number. The db has each tenants lists of guests. If a guest is checking in they sign signature pad that stores their signature and date signed in. The look and feel are clumsey and not very user friendly. I am looking to update and streamline the look and feel of the program.

I will provide copy of database upon project award.
