Description
Experience Level: Entry
Hi, I’m looking for someone who is willing to advise and coach me on a project I am working on. I’m not looking for help on the physical build, I will do all that but need support on where to start, which software to explore etc
The goal of the project:
- a tv will list all people taking part in a competition. When each individual completes their work they will press their ‘finish’ button and the leaderboard on the tv will load their finish time and populate a leaderboard as people complete.
Things to use
- Raspberry Pi
- Old TV
- ‘finish’ button
All of this I will buy and source.
Currently I’m thinking this can be completed with a Raspberry Pi 4 using Bluetooth to relay a message between button and main board. A programme similar to magic mirror could be used to display results
Help needed
- as mentioned this is a diy project I am working on but will be my first experience with Raspberry and interactive tools so I’m looking for someone who can answer simple questions on how to begin this project, what to do when stuck, help problem solve etc
- person must be patient as this will be new to me
- able and willing to help identify the right type of programmes and tools to use
