Description
Weekly (or more) ad hoc sessions to teach object-oriented programming concepts (intermediate to advanced), including design patterns and best practices. Should also be able to instruct on [Decorators, Dunders, Generators, Meta-Classes and other intermediate level python topics]. The instruction needs to be VERY applied and not theoretical. The examples should be more realistic and rather comprehensive, using multiple topic areas (e.g. not just mini toy examples to make a "square" class).
Deliverables:
I will need the instructor to send over a few dozen sample questions for each of these topic areas (python notebook, ideally), followed up by a 1:1 to cover the material and answer questions. The "student" is proficient in python analytics and is looking to upskill into more traditional python development.

Hi Jane,
I do like the idea of teaching but before I invest my time in making examples can you tell me more about your company?
It is just that I have lately been seeing a lot of what appear to me fake projects. Not saying that this is one, but I think it might be good to some more info. If you need any more information about me that please ask.
Best regards,
DennisJane A.25 Oct 2020We are an analytics consulting company. Some of our users express interest in upskilling in different areas. In this case we are seeking a python developer to help one of our internal researchers gain more skills with development (OOP, debugging, profiling, etc.) Does this help clarify the project needs?
Dennis B.26 Oct 2020Yes it does somewhat, thank you.
As I understand it you seek someone to make Python examples to requirements that you have in your business. Which will be explained in a 1 to 1 session.
What do you expect from me in the proposal?
