We are looking for work to be carried out on an existing website ‘Www.snipstock.com’ It is an image stock based website specialising in pre cut-out images (PNG format ‘images without backgrounds’ and a basic image editor function) the site was built using PHP and MYSQL. The code structure has view and controllers, where the /views directory contains templates for each page and the /controllers directory contains functionality etc. It is hosted by Godaddy.

Changes to be made to the free image editor and the new features to be added.

Free image editor...

Space bar - holding the space bar allowing you to move/zoom in and out on an image with the mouse, as if you were to right click.

Erase tool - This function needs to run smoother, at the moment when you erase it glitches.

Rotate tool - When an image has been added or selected, in the top left corner have a rotate icon. This will allow users to rotate any selected image or text.

Lasso tool - Selects an area in your image in a free-form shape, Similar to that of Photoshop.

Magnetic Lasso tool - Selects part of an image by selecting the high-contrast edges around a shape. Again, similar to that of Photoshop.

Magic wand tool - Selects the pixels with similar colors in a single click. Similar to Photoshop.

Clone stamp tool - Paints with an image sample, which you can use to duplicate objects, remove image imperfections, or paint over objects in your photo. You can also clone part of an image to another image. Similar to the erase tool, when users use the Clone stamp tool, they can select the size of the brush and contract. Add an image straight from Snipstock to the image editor - This will be a premium feature so will only work if you have an account. At the moment when i’m logged in and using the editor page, when I click on ‘Open your Snipstock images’ a box of my images appear..

I want to remove this function and instead replace the text with ‘Add Snipstock images’ then when clicked a larger box appears, approximately 2/3s of the screen size which in turn is essentially the snipstock homepage. Here a user can simply search for an image, ‘Cat’ for example, Cat images will appear. The user can then add said image to the Editor page.

On the image page itself, where users can download the image, you will see users can download small, medium or large images. Below that you can see a box saying ‘Sign Up for FREE and receive! Download more images per day with an premium account’ below this (on every image) i want an option to add image straight to editor. If a user does press ‘Add to editor’ then a new window will open and said image will now be open in the editor. Again this is a premium feature.

PDF Editor - User will have the ability to upload a PDF file, Edit and then export, save or print PDF. The PDF Editor will consist of.

Ability to edit text, delete text and create new text.
Export in various formats, e.g. Convert PDF to a Word document, EPUB and AZW/AZW3 formats.
Save and print documents.
Resize text.

Amendments to be carried out on the live site...

Lower the quality of JPG images in the search results to speed up load time.

Add spaces between the JPG images in the search results, at the moment they are touching and looks messy.

The JPG images don’t sit right in the search results, we can attach images to better explain.

Text changes on the image download page, where it says ‘Sign Up for FREE and receive! Download more images per day with an premium account’ Change this to ‘Sign Up Now for FREE And Download More Images Per Day.’ Also when i am signed in this text becomes ‘Become Premium user’ Can we change this to ‘Become a Premium User’.

SEO, on our search console have only have 50,000 pages indexed. We need another sitemap to be added as we have more than 50,000 pages.

When i am logged in and save an image to my account, only large images are been saved and not other file sizes.

Refine the search results, at the moment the default search is set at ‘Newest’ can we change this to ‘Relevance’

With that, at the moment relevant searches aren't showing first, for example when i search ‘Wonder Woman’ it’s not till page 3 that I start to see said images.

Only show JPG images in the search results when JPG search has been clicked, don’t show JPG images in normal PNG search mode.

Remove the text ‘Fully Layered PSD File' Download text. Just keep the 3 PNG download options and where it has the option to download the PSDs change this to the ‘add image to image editor, function is mentioned above.

On the sign up page. When someone creates a new account and adds there username in, if that username is taken can we have a message pop up straight away rather than waiting till the end to get the error message.
