General information for the website: Debt Help Website
Description of requirements/features: We are looking for a way of preventing a user from completing duplicate applications on our enquiry forms and also looking for a way of making sure the user enters their phone numbers always being with a 0.
Our websites request the user completes our enquiry forms to find out more information or to see if they qualify. The problem we have found is that some people are either impatient and click the submit button more than once (leading to duplicate applications) or they click back and enter different information to see if their results appear different. We would ideally like to block a user from making an application more than once every 24hrs, perhaps by using their ip address.
With our phone number fields, we use a phone validation service which checks the user enters a genuine phone number. The phone validation service allows numbers with or without the leading 0, though our crm system where the enquiry gets sent to struggles with numbers without the leading 0, so we need to make the leading 0 mandatory.
