Description
Experience Level: Expert
We are looking for an expert in c# and platform for user behaviour.
This project is about prediction of user behaviour for heating. As we are still in an early stage we want to test a few things.
So, here comes the idea in a worded flowdiagram. The workflow is for one room – so later we will sum up rooms and prepare clusters.
Data given is
temperature indoor
temperature outdoor
- desired temperature coming from an external source
- user changes the temperature to a different level
Question I – <
NO – then delay 15 mins to START
YES – Proceed
Question II – <
NO – then delay 15 mins to START
Explanation
is derived from the questionnaire and/or adjusted profile and can be overridden bei is user changes the temperature to a different level. will be defined by an additional function for the room and time.
Action
Calculate function (heatloss)
heatloss is a falling function depending on difference between and over the time
Calculate function (heating)
heating is a rising function depending on difference between and over the time. The intention is to calculate the optimal point to start heating
Explanation:
Imagine a room in the winter – if no heating is done, temperature is descrasing. We describe that with heatloss function. If Delta temperature is small, the heatloss is rather flat. If the Delta temperature is high, the heatloss is rather steep. Maybe we find later, the we can use ONE straight line function for all Delta temperatures, because of the starting heating then.
Same with heating
Question III – f(heatloss) < f(heating)?
NO – then delay 15 mins to START
YES – give signal „heater on“
