PhpBB forum issues help

We need help with our phpBB forum. We are getting hit with so much spam posts we spend more time taking off than encouraging people to join. There are the same types of post each time and if there was a way to restrict forum titles, links in names, links in titles, words in titles we could stop it! We also need to upgrade the captcha to see if this would help.

I am sure if you work on these sites this seems very easy but I have really struggled and its just getting worse! If this is something you can help with please get in touch and let us know how long it will take you.
