PHP Gd library file needs modified...

Problem I am having is some pictures will not render properly and do not show up. Gif images stop their animation and lose their transparent background. If I use Imagick instead of GD library then those same pictures will show up but gif images still the same with Imagick. and therefore Imagick would just need to be modified for gifs if I was to use that.. So if anyone has any skills and experience with either of those then contact me..

GD libray file only used to resize proportionally scale images already uploaded on the server. If you have no understanding of this file please move on..

Summary of task:

1. Modify file so all pictures will render properly while keeping proportionally scale images.

2. Modify file so animated gif will keep their animation and not lose transparent background.

NOTE: Bypassing GD file by using width and height attributes not allowed to solve issue.

Example: <img src="user_images/ width="120" height="120" must use the gd file.

I already had one programmer spend hours trying to fix but he had no knowledge of GD so he just added width="120" height="120" and removed gd file this is unacceptable ..

Only contact me if you are very knowledgeable in GD library or Imagick and only if you are a freelancer working alone..
