General information for the website: PHP Booking Form
Description of requirements/features: We are looking for some to create a booking form plugin in php. This will will need to be a standalone script which we can easily implement into our current system.
The booking form will need to work out the price depending on the customers distances from the airport. I already have access to a UK database with all longitudes and latitudes to assist which this.
The project needs to be split up into two sections, the booking form and an admin area which allows the customer to input cost etc.
The booking form as I see it would would be broken down into the following stages.
Stage One (Options) - Transfer Type (single outbound, single inbound, return), Number of people, postcode and Select airport from dropdown. This also needs to include an option to add up to 3 extra stops.
Stage Two - Would come back with a cost for the trip, I will create a proper calculation for this.
Stage Three - Would allow the customer to fill in the details and and select a date and time (I can supply you with the required fields).
Stage Four - Customer is redirected to paypal (I have a script for this if you need it).
Stage Five - Customer is sent to a confirmation page with a reference number.
Stage Six - Email is sent to the customer and administrator with booking information.
The website administrator would need a panel with the following…
Price per mile - something he can update eg 1.50
Fixed additional cost - eg miles + additional cost.
Minimum Charge - just incase they live around the corner
Discount over certain miles: for example 15% over 70 miles.
Extra stop fee - an option to add a fee for any additional stops. miles + additional cost + stop fee
Maximum distance can cover - if the distance is too far, then stage two would return a call for quote.
Paypal email address - for payment
A table of current and past jobs - Split into two tables one showing current jobs which haven't been processed. Another table for all previous completed jobs.
