Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
We are looking for a new PHP developer to work on the back-end of our site. We currently have a PHP developer, but are looking for another to carry out the rest of the PHP requirement for potential long-term partnership. We are an online music learning platform, called TeachMeMusic. We currently have videos teaching instruments including the piano, violin and flute. There are badges, quizzes and pieces (downloadable resources) linked to each lesson.
The developer should be comfortable with all the PHP requirements of the coding language to a high level, alongside the use of MySQL and Apache.
The following have all been created in the database, but we need a developer that can maintain and build upon the following aspects of the site.
Videos that need to be linked into a database based on:
The instrument being taught
The lesson number
The lesson part (each lesson is split into different parts, as separate videos)
The lesson badge (each lesson has a specific achievement badge associated with it)
Search features
Sort features
Frequently asked questions database
Quiz database (each lesson has a quiz associated with it too)
There are other aspects to the site including web statistics, so we can monitor flow, but we are looking for a developer that is forward thinking, enthusiastic and innovative, to lead in the progress of the site. We are looking to launch February 1st 2013.
I have attached some images of the current site portfolio. For the complete portfolio, please message me, and I would be happy to supply them. A prototype of the current site can be viewed at beta.teachmemusic.net which is an old version, but just something to get the overall idea of the site and how it works together. The current 'coming soon' landing page can be viewed at www.teachmemusic.net
Kind regards,
Rajen
