Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the website: Sports reporting website
Description of requirements/features: We require a continuously horizontal scrolling carousel that needs to display sports fixtures w/kick-off time, market and betting odds pulled from an XML feed. This function will overlay on top of an image that will be displayed on a website (Please see 312x715 image sample for layout structure).
We will be providing the XML feed for you to work from. The XML data displayed in the carousel must always be up to date, ensuring the correct fixture w/kick-off time, market and betting odds as being displayed, a script will have to be written to ensure fixtures markets and betting odds are replaced once each game has finished. The carousel must have a hover on pause function allowing each offer to have a hover state which can be styled.
i.e.
We’ll need a set of rules for this that say something like this: publish the top three in “first_goal_scorer” alongside their name (XXXX) and odds (5/1)
First Goalscorer XXXX 5/1 First Goalscorer XXXX 5/1 First Goalscorer XXXX 13/2
Again, please see 312x715 image sample for reference.
There will be a default listing of previous game stats that should run in isolation when there is no team fixture present.
Please use this carousel as a reference http://coolcarousels.frebsite.nl/c/9/
This XML feed carousel must be a maximum width of 312px with a maximum height of 130px to fit on top of the image.
Please use html, css & jquery to build this as we have designers who can complete the job once the XML parsing function has been built.
