Experience Level: Entry
This position is a remote Tech Support Expert. You'll be providing tech support to users of all skills levels with various technologies, and researching competing products/services to provide detailed analysis and recommendations. The hours per week will vary, but we'll try to give you several day's notice if there will be a lot more/less work than you're used to, so we'll learn as we go. And even though the income won't be consistent, it's flexible work-- you usually won't be called or have to be \"on-call\"-- requests can be fulfilled in your free time, and any live phone-support can also be scheduled into your free time.
We're looking for experience with DHCP / VPN configuration, Windows XP/Vista and Apple Mac (general OS usage and networking), Remote Desktop, VNC, Firefox, Contacts/Schedule syncing (iPhone, Mobile Me, Google Calendar, Mac/Win Address Books, Outlook), GMail with IMAP / POP / SMTP, Google Apps for Enterprise, Flickr, Domain management including DNS / CNAME / MX, and Dropbox file-sharing.
