Need an Ember developer for very quick fix

Description of requirements/features: I am just starting out with Ember, and have followed through the tutorial and now have a basic example app working.

I have a requirement for a dropdown button, that is visible in the whole application and when clicked a dropdown menu of cities is displayed and when a city is clicked the user is take to a detail view of that city.

I created a component called area-picker, this component retrieves cities from fake api mirages.

The button currently works, however I need the button to display what the currently selected City is as its value.

See video it shows me clicking the button, the page navigating but the button value now needs updating to reflect the current active route.

You should provide a solution to the problem using only ember and ember features.
