Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
General information for the website: We have a database
Description of requirements/features: We use http://foliotek.github.io/Croppie/ to crop an scale images to our needs. To keep the cropping simple, we scale viewport: { width: 90,height: 90},boundary: {width: 90,height: 90}. The resulting CSS is save together with the image link to a database.
e.g.:
image: http://www.snut.fr/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/image-de-b.jpg
css: transform-origin: 457.765px 355.91px 0px; opacity: 1; transform: translate3d(-412.765px, -310.91px, 0px) scale(0.3863);
displaying the image in FF/Chrome is ok with the saved css:
but in IE10, we can not use the transform parameters given by croppie, as we use a svg for the greyscale filter:
which actually breaks the transformation.
Task:
We need a JS script which calculates the right position of the class="svgframe", depending on the given css by croppie. We already know, that the scale should be multiplied by 10 to get the right zoom, but you still need to calculate the position of the image in the avatarframe.
Extra notes:
