Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I have 13 middle school students who have chosen a Tic Tac Toe Touchscreen project for use in an experiment on player performance under several conditions of reward or penalty.
They want to modify the program in a few ways:
1 - Open a CSV file to write to
2 - put counter on screen that shows total number of games that have been played (ie during first game counter says 1, second game counter says 2, third it says 3 and so on)
3 - The file records game #, result of each game (Win, +1; Lose, -1; Draw, 0) and the total time (in milliseconds) required for each game.
4 - There is only one CSV file. Each new game is appended to the same file.
They want CSV output for each game like:
Game 1, Game 1 result, Total time for Game 1
Game 2, Game 2 result, Total time for Game 2
...
...
...
...
Game n, Game n result, Total time for Game n
Also a brief document explaining the changes would be useful. I'm guessing an experienced programmer could do this in 4 hours or less.
