Mikrotik expert for VPN pptp-client configuration

Description of requirements/functionality: I am looking for a Mikrotik expert that could help us configure a Mikrotik router so that we can solve the following error :

I stream video via a VPN client onto an iPad.

If I activate the VPN client directly on iPad, the streaming works fine.

But when I activate the VPN client (pptp) on the Mikrotik router, and then route the traffic of the iPad via the VPN interface, the streaming just does not work.
Hereunder is my config:

- I start a pptp client on my VPN server
- I nat the pptp interface
- I mark route "via-vpn" all the connections from my iPad's local IP in the firewall
- I set up ip route so that all mark route "via-vpn" use the pptp interface
Just for info, when I check my public IP from the iPad, I get the proper public IP address of our VPN server. The internet connectivity on the iPad is fully functional and is going via the VPN. I can browse the internet without problem.

But the video stream does not work. I can see some heavy traffic when starting the streaming, which dies out nearly instantly.

It seems that streaming is only working when VPN interface is on the iPad, not on the router. This is a problem for us, as we want to allow all the devices behind the router to access the streaming. We just cannot afford setting up VPN clients on each devices.
