MailChimp sugnup form to implement in to PHP application

Hello,

I would need somebody who can implement the sign up code for the MailChimp email list - in to a PHP application on my website.

This application requires a user to enter his/hers name and email address in order to start. I would like that when this happens, the details of the user would be also (or only) entered in to a MailChimp email list.

Plus, the PHP application at the moment will accept anything entered in to the email field. This need to be fixed so that only proper email addresses are accepted.

Note: I am good with HTML, CSS and very basic PHP. So I would need guidance or similar. I would probably not give full access to the website (previous bad experience)unless really necessary.
