Mac script to email many image attachments split onto multiple emails

Need an apple script or terminal script, or any script that will run on Mac OS. It must take a folder of many .jpg images (up to 200) and automatically send them on separate emails, 20 per email. The images will be less than 1MB each.

The script may work entirely in the background or it may open or it may use Automator, or it may "queue up" multiple emails into a mail program, ready for the user to simply click send.

When the recipient gets the email (eg in Gmail or Outlook), the image attachments must be attachments with icons. The images must not be received inline in the body of the email. Therefore the Apple Mail application will probably not work for sending the images.
