Long term SysAdmin

note £15-30 per hour 10 hours per week depending on experience etc etc. you must be within 6 hours travel of our London offices, in case we would like to meet you.

We require a long term/part-time sys admin

Functions:
- system build from bare machine/VM up to DB (mySQL), PHP apps, NodeJS
- monitoring
- automation and "systemising"
- Backup and archiving
- Security
- Updates
- record keeping
- Project management of the deployment/build projects

Technologies (you will be operating these, not doing development!)
- Ubuntu 12.04
- PHP
- MySQL
- NodeJS
- Drupal
- OpenERP
- Private and cloud/VM servers

Development
- Automation of systems and backup etc etc
- Monitoring profiles

Liaison and management
- We will work with telemeetings and screen share
- Fairly formal mandate and report process (we like reliability)
- Fluent English an absolute must

We estimate that this will be about 20-40 hours per month, with some peaks when we have new projects.

We would like you to be within 6 hours travel time of our office in London's "Silicon Roundabout", as it might be nice to meet you at some point!
