This shell script asks you the time interval you want to run a new cron and allows you to select an existing log file in /var/log directory which works with an existing shell script on your RPM or Deb Linux server.
The script first asks you what path -directory has the shell script you want to run in your new cron.
Then it asks you from a list of existing /var/log/logname.csv files which one you want to use in the new cron.
I will provide more in depth information if you need it. And I will do testing.
Thank you
John
