Description
Experience Level: Entry
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
General information for the website: eCommerce
Description of requirements/features: What I'm after is a jQuery countdown timer (purely Jquery no PHP due to limitations beyond my control.)
The countdown timer must adhere to a couple of rules though.
It must countdown to the same time everyday which can be customised via the script (no fancy backend needed)
When the countdown is up say at 2pm between 2 and midnight it must display something along the lines of "Your order will be shipped tomorrow" and then at midnight reset itself to start the countdown again.
It must exclude weekends and dates that can be set ad-hoc, during those times it must give a countdown to the next day available. i.e. Fri countdown to Monday.
I'm more than happy for you to use existing jQuery plugins and write the functionality, this one looks promising http://plugins.jquery.com/kbw.countdown/ The only thing I do ask is that you clearly comment your code.
Any questions please ask.
