Jobs board Integration and Programming

We are looking to employ the services of a competent ASP.net professional for this project.

We are in the process of building a jobs board and are looking to have the following completed as part of this project.

1. Jobs Board Integration: We are looking for a competent programming professional to integrate our website with another jobs portal so that our database is updated as the database of the job portal is also updated with jobs.

The owners of the jobs portal have built a self integration API that allows developers to quickly integrate them using XML over HTTP. All they need to get going is a URL that they can send the XML post to. They have set us up with a demo account on Vacancy Poster so the developer can send XML to he registered URL and interrogate this/ parse it into our database.

We have been advised that thee are usually some fields that will not match so easily and these can be added as custom fields. The attached API shows how the integration works. They have several jobs boards that have now self integrated and the fastest to date is 4 hours and longest 10 hours.

2. Jobs to email: This facility should allow jobs pulled from the Vacancy Poster jobs board to be sent to users via email. The system should work something like this:
a. User creates their search criteria (We already have a system that allows the user to create their search criteria)
b. Search criteria is stored in database (We already have this also)
c. Vacancy Poster posts jobs to their database
d. Posted jobs are pulled and are stored in our database
e. System matches up user search criteria to any jobs pulled from vacancy poster t our database
f. These matches are sent to the user via email

3. Email Sponsor: This facility should allow admin to upload a logo and create up to 200 character text that is displayed as part of the email sent to users. Admin should be able to select which emails the sponsors logo and text will be displayed based on job locations and job sectors that they select

4. Job Fields: Based on the job fields integrated from “Jobs Board Integration” System should allow employers to upload jobs directly from our site and job seekers should be able to apply for jobs from our website whether the jobs are uploaded directly from he employer or pulled from the vacancy poster jobs board
