Description
Experience Level: Expert
This project is for a customized javascript batch process setup.
Please note: only apply for this project if you have proven javascript experience in Adobe Acrobat. Javascript for Acrobat is very different to javascript for web development and this project requires programmers who are fluent in managing the quirks that are inherent in javascript for Acrobat.
We would like to create one batch process which uses javascript to:
1) Add footers, headers and page numbers on odd and even pages, that have formatting, colour etc already specified in the code, so that no design is required.
2) Automatically generate bookmarks for H1 and nested bookmarks within this for H2 and H3.
3) From this then generate and insert a table of contents that has formatting, colour etc already specified in the code, so that no design is required.
4) Add crop marks, convert the file to CMYK Swop, and add language tags for accessibility. (We have already created a preflight fix up in a batch for this, so you can use this and just add it to your javascript batch).
The key to this process is that we want the batch to run as a '1 click' process, so that the user doesn't have to be entering information, choosing fields etc.
We have provided a full brief for the project in the attached Adobe-acrobat-brief-v1 and sample table of contents, and a sample document.
Looking forward to hearing from you on this project.
