Hi there,
I am looking for a network support freelancer who can help my small business. We have recently liquidated but have started up something new. We had a network administrator but we let him go. We need to set up our email addresses with a new domain name, move our website across (or simply point the old website address to the new?), and also fix some niggly issues we're having with Exchange server.
In the long term I'm interested in having someone come in once a week or once every two weeks to help us set up any virtual machines, and set up public/private IP addresses/ports, etc for clients. We run a training room hire company and some clients need very specific settings.
I'm also looking to hire an apprentice to come in and look after our systems, but I'd like an experience person to advise and help our apprentice with anything they are not sure of.
There is a lot that our network needs. But we cannot afford someone permanently, so would like to build a relationship with someone who can make themselves available when we need it.
This is how our original network adminstrator described his work with us:
- Planning, Deploying and maintaining I.T infrastructure Server 2008 environment, desktops and laptops.
- Hyper-V Cluster
- Exchange 2010
- Sharepoint Server 2010
- Routing and Remote Access Server - VPN Clients
- Windows Deployment Server - Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7
- SQL Server 2008
- Lync Server 2010
- IIS 7
- VMWare Workstation
- VMWare Player
- Support of all laptops and desktop machines.
- Support of LAN and WLAN.
Most help can be given remotely. However, I think we would need someone to come to us for a day or two fairly soon just to get us on our feet again.
I don't have a specific budget. I'm keen to get a few people to quote and let me know why they would be suitable for this role.
Thanks,
Leanne
ps. We are based in Southwark, SE1 in London.
