An automation process is required to digitize physical supplier invoices for data entry into excel sheets. Several invoices are received monthly from numerous vendors in hard copy format. These are currently reentered manually and individually which is an inefficient use of time.

We are looking for a solution that can automate this process through a desktop app, script, or any other suitable method.

The goal is to streamline this process through a desktop application or script that can scan images of invoices and extract key information such as invoice number, date, item details, costs etc. into a structured format compatible with popular spreadsheet software. Sample invoices and test datasets are attached.

Optical character recognition (OCR) technology should be leveraged to read typed text from scans. The output must organize data into columns and presented in a dialog box, where some additional information will be added by the user. Then all datas should be automatically pasted in given excel files.
