Description
Experience Level: Expert
I have a Microsoft Lifecam Cinema. The camera has a button on the top, which the bundled software uses to launch MSN messenger, but I want to use it as a capture button.
An API is provided with the camera, however I am a little out of my depth as to how the button is accessed - an event listener perhaps? No documentation is provided for the API, and I do not have the time or knowledge to look through all the methods and figure out how to use it.
What I need is someone to look through the classes/methods and write an example c# project showing how the button is accessed. I do not need to capture an image or create a live stream - I already have code for this. So all the project needs to do is say trigger a message box or trace when the button is pushed.
I will need something for Friday. I do not anticipate this being a difficult task for an experienced programmer, as a Microsoft API should be easy to decipher. I will supply the DLL files on acceptance of a bid. If the methods are self-explanatory, you may not even need a Lifecam to figure it out.
