Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the business: Membership sign up
Kind of development: New program from scratch
Description of requirements/functionality: The Goal here is to be able to get information from the users Facebook account, such as Email, Gender, Name, City, Country, Postcode/ZipCode, date of birth( or birthday and if adult if possible) info so that that they have to enter as little as possible into a sign up from.
Delivery would be a visual studio solution file, with a web page button on it 'Sign up with Facebook', once you have clicked on that it takes you to a with that sample data prefilled in.
I can appreciate that all platforms are different.
If the platform eg Google does not return this or its private then null is returned.
I don't need to publish on their Facebook/google/twitter page, this is just a read operation, its really just putting in into a form(or hidden fields ) on a form, so don't need a local database.
If you don't use facebook that you have to enter in everything manually, eg go to the page bypassing facebook.
Since a C# MVC5 project can use OWIN then which has the OAuth social login.
CMS and Admin requirements: Should use the standard Facebook SDK or NuGet package were possible, eg as out of the box as possible.
MSDN/ Stack overflow examples ok.
If all possible in JavaScript then perfect.
Specific technologies required: JS, HTML (C# ASP.NET (MVC ,OWIN ))
OS requirements: Windows
Extra notes: Will eventually fit into a Facebook App, so basic HTML or use a facebook sample project in Vs2013.
The create account/sign up using Facebook might occur on a mobile phone, so can use JS to fill out the form completely if possible.
Also to help with the quote you might want to look at http://facebooksdk.net/
