Description
Experience Level: Expert
This project is to design & document an algorithm (no coding).
The algorithm takes a picture as its input and produces a collection of items, where each item contains an array of points that define the outline of the item in the original picture and a the category (dress, shirt, skirt etc.).
For examples of typical images see topshop.co.uk or warehouse.co.uk.
There will be a predefined list of categories. Note this algorithm will have to be capable of processing 10-100's of images per sec when implemented.
If you are interested please provide detail of experience with image processing algorithms and a sentence on how you would approach this.
