Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the website: Just an experiment I'm working on
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Num. of web pages/modules: 1
Description of requirements/features: Please see the following experimental website project:
http://tommynardini.com/NEW/
(also attached as a zip file)
I have run into a JavaScript issue that I need help with. You will see 3 sliders on this page, all using the Royalslider plugin. I tweaked the base code to allow going fullscreen if you click ANYWHERE on the slide (usually you must click the fullscreen icon).
The code I added works, BUT when you are in fullscreen mode there is a glitch that *CAN* happen. I notice that when in fullscreen mode, if you click the black background everything can break. The fullscreen image will disappear etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
• I only want you editing the javascript. Do not edit the raw HTML or CSS contents of the page.
• Do not use any additional plugins. Please ONLY use royal slider.
• I will be adding more sliders, so your solution must be flexible to easily allow more sliders
• Please test, test, test. The glitch only happens sometimes, so please check your work carefully.
• I tried to get help before, and the person helping me wasn't able to reproduce my problem. Please make sure you can reproduce my problem so that you understand my frustrations.
• I will only pay if the problem is solved without crazy bloated code. This should be simple and straightforward. Do not make this complicated!
HELPFUL INFORMATION:
• Tech support for Royalslider says I should try and use code like the following:
"make sure that you don't call enterFullscreen method while in fullscreen mode, you probably looking for something like"
if (s.isFullscreen) {
s.exitFullscreen();
} else {
s.enterFullscreen();
}
