I need help with array manipulation

I have a form that has a set of 10 input fields; when someone removes value from the input field, a button span is appended after the input and when end user clicks this, it triggers an event which currently only console.logs an array with the current values that are visible on the page.

I need to manipulate the array so that the non empty values inside the array are pushed to the top of the array in order, while leaving the index position and names alone since those correspond to my IDs in the form that I am modifying. In the screenshot as an example, I would need index 0 to have the value '2' and so on; the solution should leave the original array alone and show the manipulated array in a new array.
