An Excel spreadsheet to store and manage a list of tasks.
A series of buttons and actions are required.
1. New Item dialog box, to add another task to the list. This will contain start date, end date, frequency of task, responsibility, manager, some reference text, reminder delay, auto reminder reset flag.
2. Close Task box, with date completed, and comments.
3. Email Due Task Button, that will bring up a list of jobs that have reached their reminder date. A checkbox to select which tasks will have an email sent out.
4. Email Late Task Button, that will bring up a list of jobs that have reached their due date. A checkbox to select which tasks will have an email sent out. It also send an email to the manager of the job.
5. Email Specific Jobs. Some jobs do not have a date, and will be sent based on some other non time related event being achieved. So a list of jobs that are not time dependent needs to be produced.
6. Reset Task Dates. A list of reoccurring tasks that have reached their due date, that can have the date reset, based on the reoccurring frequency.
7. Log File for all actions.
I have attached the current working file, which shows these details.
