I need someone to write a Blender 3d simulation. for me. Delivered as a .blend file.
It's a simulation of the vacuum forming process. (If you're not familiar there's tons online or: https://youtu.be/YJ2khPSVYoo).
The idea would be that there would be two inputs, one would be a 3d model with a flat base in .stl format. The other would be a .png image file. I will supply test stl and png files.
To simulate the VF process would require an animation whereby the 'plastic' sheet uses a cloth simulation with the png image attached. This would 'float' above the imported 3d model. Then either the cloth would be animated down onto the model or the model animated up into the cloth. Either way the image would be 'stretched' over the model and baked.
This should create a 'pre-distorted' image due to the unwrapping and this image would need to be exported as a png file such that when I print that image in the real world and then vacuum form it over a real model made from the stl then the image will form over the model without distortion.
I would want to import any stl and any png into the simulation and get out the corresponding pre-distorted png.
If you're interested perhaps you could give me a fixed price to think about?
