I need a developer to help automate workflow involving field force data capture

We are seeking to replace the use of paper job forms by our field force with electronic data capture.

This objective is to
1) integrate workflow between a sharepoint scheduling system and a field data capture application (via an API)
2) process the information received at the end of the job and convert it into an editable post-job report
3) configure the forms in the field data capture application to meet the business requirements.

We envisage this job to be delivered in stages. The first stage is to undertake a feasibility review leading to a solution design.

For the first step:
Understand the business requirements - We will provide a view of these, but may need to be developed further
Understand what data is held in the sharepoint application and how best to read it.
Evaluate the API capability of a commercial field data capture application, and also an open source alternative.
Propose a solution design to meet the business requirements.
