Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
General information for the website: It is a boutique hotel / restaurant / events space
Kind of development: New website from scratch
Description of every page/module: I have a full design brief which was passed to another freelancer on this site! The designs are now finalised and looking great. With regards to pages, there are around 8 'normal' pages - and depending on how its setup, additional pages to support the bedrooms we have.
This brief is attached. Will need to go through these with the appointed developer.
Design reference files can be seen here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8eZynJwb5xpakdYRmZXQUo1ZDg/view?usp=sharing
Description of requirements/features: I am looking for a web developer who has previous experience of using CraftCMS. We have a very capable in-house developer and all our other business sites are built using Craft - we are trying to free up his time and find an ongoing additional resource for our businesses.
The successful candidate will have knowledge or experience of the following:
- Extensive experience working within CraftCMS https://craftcms.com/
- PHP
- Twig
- GIT
My dev tells me that if you've used 'Expression Engine' before, the leap to CraftCMS would be smaller.
Some other sites within our business (using Craft):
https://www.assemblyhousenorwich.co.uk/
https://www.thepigs.org.uk/
https://www.byfords.org.uk/
Some of the site features (which can be seen in the design files). Please note: CONTENT on the design files is not final:
- Site Menu – roll down (or other animation) with highlighting items (hand graphic)
- Homepage (first page) – Block functionality for content / using graphics behind headers / gallery block
- Food page – Slider block functionality to show different items of the menu (will need to discuss)
- Rooms page – the trickiest page – similar to the food page – a slider to show room types and individual rooms (read the design brief to understand this a bit more)
Support will be given from our dev, but would rather whoever takes this on has enough experience to complete the project. I am not a developer, but will be managing the project and can assist on layout / content / functionality / testing etc.
On appointment, access will be given.
Extra notes: We 100% are using CraftCMS - please do not bid and offer an alternative
Wordpress websites will NOT translate well to using CraftCMS
Devs with CraftCMS experience will be favoured.
