.htaccess expert required to fix issue with CDN module on Drupal

I'm looking for someone who has extensive knowledge of .htaccess configurations to help fix an issue we are having caused by the CDN module for Drupal.

The ideal person must be able to demonstrate previous work with .htaccess configs, Drupal and the CDN module (https://drupal.org/project/cdn).

The problem we are facing is when the CDN module is active and do anything in Drupal like 'Promote Content To Homepage' for example it seems to create a loop of apache connections. Thousands of connections which in turn kills the server until the module is de-activated.

Have you ever seen just a problem? Do you know how to fix? Please feel free to get in touch if you have.
