Grammarbot / PerfectTense API integration

I need a module written in Python that will take in text input which could contain HTML markup (but may not) and return grammar and spelling corrected output (to British English). Importantly that output should include the HTML markup in the same places where appropriate.

The issue I've had in my initial work with things like Grammarbot / PerfectTense is that they do not work when passing them HTML markup – they do not ignore it so they pass back incorrect results. I expect that the solution would either need to strip out the HTML markup, run the grammar and spelling check and then put the HTML markup back in, or run the API without the HTML markup and run through each of the corrections in turn on the original text, but I will leave that up to the experts!

I'm happy to provide API authentication for either Grammarbot or PerfectTense. Ideally your solution would be able to work with either, but I'd be happy enough with one.
