Google Script for Google Spreadsheets, 90% done - need expert for last 10% (onEdit)

Description of requirements/functionality: Current code does the following
- monitor colums with header name STATUS using onEdit in Google Script
- if data changed in that column, then look for rows with header CHNGDT and NEWDT and set timestamp
Program currently works fine for 1 row onEdit change

Required changes
- if data is pasted to multiple rows (or a range) then
- traverse the range
- for every row check if column with header STATUS was changed
- update corresponding columns of these rows with header CHNGDT and NEWDT and set timestamp

And in short. What already works for 1 row. Now change and make it work when we paste a range too.
