Gallery reworking for my website

Hi, I have a website.

I'm looking to improve the web galleries by changing the navigation system. I'm looking to remove the current arrow navigation and to replace it with a slider underneath the images very much the same as the ones in the attached photos.

Also, I'd like to have the menu system fixed so that the images slide underneath.

This would be more elegant than how it is now.

I would also consider a separate job for a responsive gallery layout that sizes the images to the browser however the current site works beautifully with all mobile devices and browsers. It's really important this functionality remains.

The long view of the site is to put a PSD front page with picture hotspots leading in as well as a colour and font change but I want to get the layout and behaviour right first.
