Our online image resize tool used to work but we have since (I think!) moved the virtual server to another box, in which case its an easy permissions change - or its might be a plugin problem related to Java runtime environment - in which case I can imagine the problem being a little stickier. This is an "as soon as possible" because our clients being a little impatient...
