We have an OpenVAS installation which stopped working a few weeks ago. I'm seeing errors to do with Redis, but I have a feeling that might be a red herring.
The web app is up, but the scanner service will not start, and if I kick off any tasks in the web dashboard, it immediately changes status to "Stopped at 0%".
Here's the error;
/etc/init.d/openvas-scanner status
● openvas-scanner.service - Open Vulnerability Assessment System Scanner Daemon
Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/openvas-scanner.service; enabled; vendor preset: enabled)

I can provide SSH access with sudo permissions if you give me your public key, and I have a snapshot of the server, so from my perspective, just go for it. :)
It would also be acceptable if you want to/can export our config, and I'll just provision a new server for you to do a fresh OpenVAS install and import our stuff back in. Whatever is easiest.
