General information for the business: We are a professional photography company for estate agents
Description of requirements/functionality: A summary of the project brief below:
Stage 1
1. We would like you to analyse the structural and architectural issues with the database
2. We would like a complete analysis and recommendations report
Your first deliverable would be to provide a detailed list of changes you recommend and why (include scripts if possible and benchmarking).
If we are happy with your report we will retain you on the project and will want to work with you to make the changes you recommended.
Stage 2
3. We are interested in adding / removing indexes, combining indexes, stats etc.
4. We are interested in config changes – setting MAXDOP, Boost SQL Server Priority etc.
(At this stage we are not interested in refactoring any views / functions / stored procedures or Triggers (this would be a follow on phase)
Specific technologies required: Microsoft SQL Server
