Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I need an Excel/VBA simulation/optimization for a manufacturing process for a flour-based food product. The goal is to get different formulations(processed combinations of different ingredients)that are ordered from least expensive to most expensive given a set of input parameters.
The input parameters are as follows:
-ingredients (here there are primary ingredients which must be available in a formulation, and secondary ingredients that are important but may be optional (a total of 12 ingredient inputs)
- manufacturing energy cost - these inputs are in terms of electrical energy of machinery per unit time i.e. KWh (a total of 5 machine inputs)
-people cost - these inputs account for the human capital cost of the operation i.e. machine operators, they are paid per hour (a total of 6)
- packaging cost - these inputs account for the packaging cost of the manufactured product (these are per unit of manufactured product and are of different packaging materials -- 3 packaging types in total)
- marketing and distribution cost - these should be a percentage of the total cost of the manufactured unit(s)
Other notes:
+ I would features such as input forms and buttons...
+ Include graphs.
Thanks.
