Excel application

we have 3 excel sheets. the first defines a field of possibilities in 10 categories. each category can take 10 values. So a 10x10 table.
the second worksheet is a cross-compatibility analysis that has each of these categories against each other and defines (by a 1 or 0) which values are compatible with each other. the user marks this by putting a 1 on those squares in the matrix where we have compatibility. In he 3rd worksheet the user defines scenarios based on allowed (compatible values) by selecting from a drop-down list. As a value is selected in the first category, the available compatible choices should be updated automatically so that in the drop-down list only the compatible are shown for selection. also scenarios are visualised with colour coding. An excel with this functionality (manually) is available for demonstration and explanation.
