What should have been a simple chrome extension install in a sane world, has in fact turned into a rabbit hole of everything that annoys and frustrates about 365 as a cloud environment.

for the end user to enable the plugin, MS requires it to exist in azure AD (aka entra). It doesn't, so that requires some powershell to enable, that isnt working possibly because there's no entra subscription and we seem unable to link to our 365.

You get the gist. This should have been a few minutes, and for someone well versed in this platform, hopefully it will be. I need this to become as simple as it should be and off my to do list!
