Description
Experience Level: Entry
I build my questionnaires using Freeplane’s mind map technology. I already have software in asp that reads the maps and converts them into an online questionnaire. This link will take you to a map for analyzing a Driving While Intoxicated questionnaire: http://researchrepository.us/Home/Questions?filename=/Criminal/Intoxication/DWI/DWI%20Master-2.mm
This will produce an output report. In that report, when someone answers a question that implicates a particular motion or pleading, I want to put in the document name so that the system will merge the indicated document to the current data and give the user a link to the document so they can download it.
I am currently building a site to help people with traffic tickets. The simply input the ticket information then the system will create some documents they can file that are essentially generic as they will apply to any case. Next, they will be directed to a questionnaire that will ask questions about their issue and create more documents as indicated by their answers.
First
I need to be able to write a new motion or pleading in Microsoft Word, using a variable name for places where I need to merge data from a client file. I need to use Microsoft Word as it has one particular feature that creates a table of authorities that no other word processor has. I can then output the document as an html if needed.
I want to be able to input a field code such as: ${xxxxxx}. If needed, I can include codes for field types such as phone, email, currency, what ever.
Next
I then need a tool that will read a new document and for each field name, search the database to see if a field has been defined, if not, create it then re-create the document as an output form that I can call and it will merge the fields from the database into the output document.
