I'm looking for someone to create a proof of concept application that shows Electron (https://github.com/electron/electron) being able to scan a barcode using a USB barcode scanner, and then displaying that barcode on the screen.

Key Requirements:
- Electron 1.8.2
- Should work on Mac OS X
- Should work on Windows
If you don't have a USB barcode scanner available for testing I am able to assist during that part of the programming.
