Do a jquery sidebar element duplication

Description of every page/module: Hi All,

I have a jquery script that duplicates an element by the number thats inputted into the text input.

Only issue is, if someone adds say 3 and it duplicates, they then save and come back and change it too 2, it should remove the 3rd element so it only shows 2.

I know this is a quick job and is probably fairly simple for someone experienced, only im not the best with jquery.

My budget is fixed as i know it can be done within 10-15mins max
