I need to modify the behaviour and UX of my DHMTML Gantt to change the date pickers to a date-range picker.

Please check the examples for "Linked Single Date Pickers" for the task's start and finish times. See the attached screenshots of the existing UX.
I will share the current development site to the shortlisted freelancers. If you don't have direct experience with DHTMLX Gantt, then please don't send any proposals.
The selectable dates are determined by the task's calendar - you will need to be familiar with DHTMLX gantt to implement this. The non-working dates will need to be disabled in the new pickers.
You need to check that the task's duration is corrected accordingly.
