Description
Experience Level: Expert
Have a Delphi XE10 application developed with an embedded browser which is connected through IP and integrated web app, so when the application launches I have the camera IP in an ini file and just display in full screen mode, so main form just displays it.
I then launch another form, which overlays a small data dashboard, keeping the background form visible. This has been running for a number of years.
The client is looking to add another 2 of these units, problem is that I cannot get the same IP Camera, so have purchased 2 x realink 410 units, external bullet cameras which can be accessed via direct IP, displays a flash feed, and can also be viewed through VLC media player viewer through rtsp, e.g. rtsp://admin:123456@192.168.0.45:554//h264Preview_01_main
Issue is that Delphi Embedded browser doesn’t support either, so installed Chromium open source browser, which doesn’t support either.
So options are, configure another component which supports rtsp, or embed VLC media player in the main form, I have been playing around with this, but can’t get it working. Have Delphi 10.42.
Due to restricted time at present I am unable to invest further R&D time on this, would be grateful if someone would be willing to get this aspect up and running to allow me to integrate/replace main form in current version.
Have attached current screen dump for reference of requirement.
